Founded by Gulati brothers in the memory of their Parents on 28 May 2011 at Village Rajasansi (Amritsar). It was named as Shri Rattan Chand and Shrimati Shanti Devi Gulati Charitable Trust. The Trust is fully recognised by registrar of trustees Govt. of Uttrakhand under registration no 52/2016 dated 23 Feb 2016. It is a nonprofit organization which helps in educating and empowering have-nots and underprivileged children. They are supported till they are gainfully employed. Such children are provided with education, books, love, care and guidance.
To spread Education & promote Games & Sports in Remote/Rural areas with special focus on Girl Child to do their best so that the current generation of underprivileged children living below the poverty line integrate seamlessly into mainstream society. To provide financial help to Bright Students (Both Boys & Girls) of Govt Schools in rural areas, starting from our own village Schools, Our Alma Mater.
To maintain the family tradition of helping the under privileged and inculcate among posterities the Habit of sharing the family resources among weaker section of society. We sponsor the bright students( boys & girls) to assist them in pursuing higher Education. Children are selected purely on the their merit and other extra curicular activities in consultation with principals and class teachers of respective schools.
The Objectives of the Trust:
1) Education
To run, maintain or assist any educational or other institution for coaching, guidance, counseling or vocational training or to grant individual scholarships to the poor, deserving and needy students (Male/Female) for elementary and higher education.
2) Medical
To run, maintain or assist any medical institution, nursing home or clinics or to grant assistance to needy.
3) Relief for poor
To give finacial help in kind by way of distribution of books, notebooks, clothes, uniforms to the poor and food to the people suffering due to natural calamities.
4) Public Harmony
To function as a secular organization and extend helping hand to people of all religions, caste and creed .
5) Other objects of General Public utilities
To acquire a property and making it available for the public purposes such as housing a library, clinic, creche and/or as a community hall to be available for all.May be used for seminars, discourses and other public functions for the benefit of community in general.
6) Talent Hunt
To Organise sports activities in remote area schools and identify the younger generations with inherent talent and nurture them, provide opportunities and enable them to excel in the respective game or sport.
7) Miscellaneous
To understake any other functions incidental to the above activities which are not inconsistent with the above objects.
8) Preservation of Environment including Tree plantation,wasteland management,afforestation & preservation of wildlife. Work against the abuse & exploitation of animals & birds to or any other activity related to the above cause
9) To work and fight against discrimination based on Caste,Creed,Colour,Gender ,Religion,Faith,Race and Nationality.
10) To promote and support voluntary donation of Blood,Eyes and other parts of human body for charitable purposes.
11) To work for promotion of games& sports.
12) To provide relief and assistance to handicapped,poor or needy persons ,widows,orphans,street children,homeless,aged and victims of disaster & calamities.
13) To raise funds through donations ,through request,by public subscription,by issuing appeals and by contributions from Corporate houses under CSR, State or Central Govt,Individuals,philanthropic bodies,Industrial concerns,limited or private,whosoever situated in Union of India or abroad to fullfil the object of the Trust.
14) To open and maintain offices ,banking,telephone/mobile and other services in any part of Union of India for carrying out the objectives of The Trust
15) To start or use television,radio,literature,internet for the purpose of educating the society towards understanding of welfare,community health,family life,human rights and life style that may help to improve the society.
16) To receive Indian or foreign voluntiers with various skills to assist,help,aid and participate to fullfil the objects of Trust.
17) In the present age of digitisation ,facilitating children of have- nots with internet connection and providing laptops to the most deserving if situation demands.
18) To take up any other activity which may be decided by Board of Trustees from time to time,which is not against the objects and basic principles of The Trust as mentioned in the Trust deed.
